About This Class

Ages: 16+ Level: Advanced Beginner. You should be confident with casting on and off, working in the round, knitting and purling, increases and decreases, and reading a pattern. We provide: Expert guidance and camaraderie throughout the month as you develop your own unique version of designer Jacqueline Cieslak’s popular Rift Tee Shirt. You bring: A copy of the pattern (available in print or digital download from Notion); yarn plus needles and notions according to the pattern directions. We recommend a sport/dk weight cotton/wool or linen blend such as Quince & Co “Whimbrel,” Quince & Co “Kestrel,” Brooklyn Tweed “Dapple,” or Blue Sky Fibers “Organic Cotton Sport. Total instruction time: 8 hours over 4 sessions, plus email support throughout Cost: FREE with purchase of yarn from Notion (participants receive a 15% discount). Rift is an innovative design that re-invents the “basic tee.” It is knit from the bottom up, and has instructions for two necklines, optional bust darts, short or long sleeves, a split high-low hem, and a custom fit bicep. Once the split hem is completed, the tee is knit in the round. It includes designer Jacqueline Cieslak’s hallmark extensive sizing options and thorough instructions. I agree to exercise appropriate care when participating and to refrain from participating if I am taking medication or am under the influence of any substances with any tendency to affect negatively my motor skills or level of care and attention. I release from all claims, demands, liability, right or causes of action of whatsoever kind and waive my right to sue Notion LLC, their employees, officers, members, and agents from any and all claims in any way connected with any injury, illness (including death), or economic loss I may suffer or which may result from my participation in this class/event.
