Intro to Brioche with Barbarina

About This Class

Level: Intermediate. You should be confident with the fundamentals of knitting, reading a pattern, and have experience with additional stitches such as yarn overs. Ages: 16+ We provide: expert guidance on the clever but somewhat mysterious style of knitting known as brioche. You bring: The Easy Brioche Hat for Beginners Pattern by Iris Eichenlaub, available Notion or through Ravelry; 2 colors worsted weight yarn (1 skein each); size US 5 16” circular needle & size US 5 DPNs; stitch markers. Optional: knitting register. Students receive a 10% discount on supplies purchased at Notion. Total instruction time: 6 hours over three sessions Cost: $89 Admired brioche knitting, but been intimidated? This class will introduce you to the basics, including two color brioche in the round, as well as troubleshooting mistakes. Once you’ve finished your hat, you’ll be ready to start incorporating brioche into lots of projects. Limited to 4 students Notion operates on Western Abenaki land.
